Every year, U.S. News and World Report and Best Lawyers collaborate to rank law firms in the U.S. based on a rigorous evaluation process. Evaluations include extensive client and peer ratings concerning expertise, responsiveness, integrity, cost-effectiveness, referrals, and competitiveness. Best Law Firms, who exclusively awards firms with attorneys named to The Best Lawyers in America list, publishes an annual report that recognizes only the top four percent of practicing lawyers in the country.
Founding Partner Morton Kimmel and Partner Edward Carter were selected for the Best Lawyers 2017 list and have both previously been named to the list several times, including last year. Kimmel Carter has been named to the Best Law Firms list every year since the publication was established in 2010 and also holds the exclusive “Top Listed” designation for having the most listed lawyers in the Newark, Delaware metro area.
