Larry Kimmel named to Super Lawyers Rising Stars List

Larry Kimmel Super Lawyers Rising Stars Delaware

Congratulations to Managing Partner Larry Kimmel, who has again been named to the selective Delaware Super Lawyers Rising Stars list. Super Lawyers selects attorneys for the prestigious list annually, state by state and based on a thorough process, which includes peer nominations and evaluations, along with independent research. Each nominated lawyer is evaluated on 12 categories of peer recognition and professional achievement, including verdicts and settlement history, professional and community involvement, and honors and awards.

This is the fifth consecutive year that Larry has been named to the Rising Stars list, which is comprised of only the top 2.5% of attorneys in Delaware.

Along with his recognition from Super Lawyers, Larry has been honored as a “Top Lawyer” by Delaware Today magazine and as a “Legal Leader in Construction Law” by American Lawyer Media and Martindale-Hubbell. He has also received the Young Lawyers Distinguished Service Award from the Delaware State Bar Association (DSBA) and he maintains the widely respected AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell.

For his leadership of Kimmel Carter and in the community, Larry is the recipient of the “Top Leader for Small Business” award from the Wilmington News Journal and Workplace Dynamics, and in 2015, he was named to the “DBT40” list of Delaware innovators and achievers by the Delaware Business Times.

Larry is actively involved in promoting legislation that protects the rights of personal injury plaintiffs and workers’ compensation claimants, and he is a Past President of the Delaware Trial Lawyers Association and a former chair of the Workers’ Compensation Section of the DSBA. He is also deeply committed to his role as Chair of the Blue-Gold Basketball Board of Trustees, a group that helps to raise over $100,000 every year for Best Buddies Delaware.

“It’s truly an honor to receive this recognition from Super Lawyers and from the legal community,” Larry says.

“I’m lucky enough to love what I do, and I’m very appreciative of any kind of recognition that I get for my work on behalf of my clients.”
