In the past few weeks, we’ve experienced the effects of a devastating virus. When crises occur, our doctors, nurses, EMTs, police, and firefighters put their own lives at risk to save others. They answer the call, rush toward danger, and lead the way.
As many of us in the workforce are being asked to serve the public’s health by stepping back and staying home, one population is being tasked to step forward. Our frontline health workers are the first responders in the fight against coronavirus. Healthcare providers are lacking even rudimentary resources as they risk their health and endure the burnout, exhaustion, and many other challenges on our behalf. Delaware State Police are monitoring roadways, and fire companies are still responding to every call.
Here at Kimmel Carter, we’ve taken it upon ourselves to support our Delaware first responders by financially donating to our local hospitals and delivering food to our local law enforcement agencies. Listed below are two links to contribute to Christiana Hospital and Beebe Hospital in Lewes. Also, you can call your local Delaware State Police barracks and Fire House to have food delivered.
Our first responders risk their lives to help others. The least we can do is make sure they have the resources they need to do their jobs.
Thank you to our first responders
