In honor of National Kidney Month – Kimmel Carter is honored to support the National Kidney Foundation of Maryland and Delaware. The NKFMD is dedicated to preventing kidney and urinary tract diseases, improving the health and well-being of individuals and families affected by these diseases and increasing the availability of all organs for transplantation.
The goal of the National Kidney Foundation is to reach those at risk before kidney disease occurs, and impact those in earliest stages so that progression to later-stage disease is no longer inevitable. The National Kidney Foundation participates in research that is helping advance knowledge about chronic kidney disease, treatment and patient outcomes, which is why they have invested $100 million to support the treatment of this illness.
For several years Kimmel Carter has supported the Gift of Life Family House – which are strong supporters of the National Kidney Foundation.
Gift of Life Family House serves as a “home away from home” for transplant patients and their families by providing temporary, affordable lodging, and supportive services to those who travel to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania for transplant-related care.
Kimmel Carter is honored to support the National Kidney Foundation of Maryland and Delaware - which is dedicated to finding a cure for Kidney Disease and offers invaluable resources to the 37 million Americans suffering from kidney ailments.
