Kimmel Carter is proud to support the Meals on Wheels Lewes - Rehoboth. Meals on Wheels Lewes-Rehoboth provides nutritionally-balanced, home-delivered meals to homebound elderly and disabled citizens to reduce institutionalization. It was the first Meals on Wheels program in the state of Delaware, founded in 1973. Since the inception, it now provides meals to 300 Delaware residents daily, through over 100 volunteers. Furthermore, the volunteers provide daily social contact essential to the emotional wellbeing of our clients by providing friendship, empathy, and compassion while out in the community completing their deliveries.
